Ray played in goal for the two exhibition games that the Sidekicks played to bridge the time between the recently deceased-MISL winter season and the new CISL, which played during the summer. The two matches were against Team USA-Indoor (5 a Side) and against a team of Mexican "all-stars" during the fall of 1992.
