Nick E. Ethan Commonly know as Nicki, is a Greek American, (born November 15, 1966), He played professional soccer in Greece from 1990-1993 and in the United States from 1993-2000.
Efthimiou won the 1985 state championship as a senior at Richardson High School a suburb of Dallas Texas
He graduated from Richardson High school as a soccer state champion in 1985 which is located in a suburb of Dallas Texas. He was honored with being selected to the all district team, the all regional team, and the all state team and all state tournament team too. He was the 2nd leading goal scorer behind UNC team mate Allen Higgins.
In College Ethan initially went to the University of North Texas where he was a walk on and started every game. He transferred to UNC his sophomore year in 1987.
As a sophomore he started every single game holding a record with 4 other team mates for most consecutive games started.
He helped lead UNC to the mens soccer college cup semi-final in 1987. They lost to eventual champions Clemson who UNC had beat twice that season in the A.C.C.
He was honored with the scholar athlete award in 1987 and in 1988.

After a stellar college career, Efthimiou was selected by the [[Dallas Sidekicks (1984-2004)|Dallas Sidekicks]] in the fourth round of the 1990 [[Major Indoor Soccer League (1978–1992)|Major Indoor Soccer League]], (MISL) draft. but ended up going abroad to his homeland and signing with AEK Athens F.C. a Greek 1st division team.
In 1990, under coach Dušan Bajević he signed with AEK Athens F.C. in the Greek 1st Division and scored 11 goals and 6 assists in his 59 game tenure with them.
He was released in 1993 and returned back to his home town in Dallas Texas where he signed with the Sidekicks as a free agent in 1993. He played for the Dallas Sidekicks from 1993-2000.
In his career with the Sidekicks he won 2 indoor championships. One was won in the CISL (Continental Indoor Soccer League) in 1998 and the other was won in the P.S.A. (Premier Soccer Alliance) in 1998. He played 155 games. He is one of 9 indoor soccer players to have won two more championship rings.
Efthimiou played for United States national futsal team at the 1998 Rio de Janeiro Futsal Tournament which was held in Brazil.
In 2015 he graduated from Harvard law school. He is currently a freelance agent for pro athletes, mainly soccer.
